At MoEa, they understand that sometimes you have to go the extra mile to be truly sustainable. That's why MoEa chooses to make its shoes not only from raw materials that have the smallest possible footprint, but also from some unusual, plant-based materials. For example, MoEa's sneaker collection includes a line partly made of apple peel, cactus leaves, corn husks, grape skin and pineapple peel. All these raw materials are residual products from other production processes and would normally end up in a landfill.
MoEa is a truly European company. With headquarters in Paris and a production site in Portugal, MoEa is close to its target market and also draws on the skills of some of the best shoemakers in Europe. By choosing Portugal as its production location, MoEa can guarantee that its production workers can perform their labour under the right conditions. Of course, this is compensated fairly. The raw materials for the shoes are processed in Italy. Here, too, MoEa has chosen a European location, making it possible to oversee the production itself and thus ensure that everything is done in a fair and sustainable way.
