Adidas

The Adidas brand
Adidas Originals is an originally German company from Herzogenaurach. When the two brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler started manufacturing shoes in the 1920s, they were initially intended for gymnastics. Later, the company became increasingly successful; at the 1936 Olympics, Jesse Owens won four gold medals on Dassler shoes. However, the brothers had some disagreements, so they both went their separate ways. Adolf founded Adidas in 1949, while his brother Rudolf started Puma on the other side of town.
